DIAMOND GRADING REPORT

GemID Diamond Grading Report is a report on the grading of natural diamonds and laboratory-grown diamonds. The test samples cover both colorless to almost colorless natural diamonds(Cape) or laboratory-grown diamonds and fancy colored natural/laboratory-grown diamonds.

The GemID Diamond Grading Report provides reliable and accurate results for the identity and grading of diamonds based on international recognized diamond grading systems. Each diamond has been analyzed by over two gemologists to accurately describe its quality and characteristics.

The weight, color, clarity, and cut (known as 4C) of each diamond will be clearly stated on the diamond report. The report also details other grading features related to proportion, symmetry, girdle, and fluorescence.

GemID Lab conducts a comprehensive quality evaluation, color grading, and purity grading of natural and laboratory grown diamonds to identify the color origin as natural or treated.

Usually, the diamond is inspected and graded using a gemstone microscope, and the type of diamond (IaA, IaAB, IaB, Ib, IIa, IIb) is determined using FTIR (fourier transform infrared spectroscopy). We will also use UV-VIS spectroscopy and Raman-PL spectroscopy to analysis on diamonds.

GemID Lab has the final right of interpretation for the reports issued.
