The GemID Gemstone Report is divided into Colored Stone Report and Pearl Report, Pearl Report is applicable to pearls and pearl products, and the identification and grading information in Pearl Report is only applicable to natural and cultured pearls (excluding artificial treated or imitated products).

GemID Lab. will use X-ray fluorescence technology to confirm whether pearls are natural pearls, saltwater cultured pearls, freshwater cultured pearls, or imitations. In addition, GemID Lab will also use UV-VIS spectroscopy combined with gemstone microscope to test whether the color origin of pearls is natural or treated.

GemID Pearl  Report, including information on the quantity, weights, measurements, shape, color (bodycolor and overtone), pearl species and type, mollusk, possible enhancement/ treatment, as well as grade of surface & luster quality, matched-degree (if any), and special trade color for loose, inlaid, or a string of pearls.

GemID Lab has the final right of interpretation for the reports issued.
